Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

Dominic's English & Coding Tutoring (referred as 'Tutor') provides private tutoring services in Hong Kong specialising in:

• English Language: Reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar and examination preparation.
• Coding: Scratch, Python, and web development basics.
• Homework Support: Assistance with both international and local school assignments.

All services are personalised 1:1 unless other arrangements are agreed.

2. Enrolment and Payment

• Packages: Single sessions available or lesson packages.
• Payment: Due after the session via PayMe, FPS, or bank transfer (HKD only).

3. Cancellation Policy

• Notice Required: 12 hours for rescheduling; as soon as possible for illnesses.
• Tutor Cancellations: Make-up sessions offered.

4. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

• Disclose any learning differences or health concerns.
• Ensure students attend with required materials (notebooks, laptops, etc.).
• Supervise children before and after each session.
• Provide 24 hours notice for address changes (home visits).

5. Tutor Commitments

• Provide qualified instruction (TEFL-certified).
• Provision of learning materials.
• Submit monthly progress reports via email.
• Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) in effect.

6. Health and Safety

• Tutor may refuse teaching services to a student with feverish symptoms or contagious illnesses.
• Tutor reserves the right to wear masks during flu season.

7. Intellectual Property

• Custom teaching materials © Dominic's English & Coding Tutoring (personal use only).
• No recording of sessions without mutual consent.

8. Termination of Services

• Parents/Guardians or Tutor may terminate services with 3 days notice.

9. Liability

• Tutor is not liable for any injuries or damages during sessions (home visits, online, or in-person).
• Parents/guardians are responsible for the student's safety before and after each session.

10. General

• These terms supersede all prior agreements.
• No third-party beneficiaries.
